Job Title: Production Chemist

Job Description

  • Professionally manage out-sourced laboratory services contract (ensure value for money spent)
  • Quality-check analysis results from field-based mini laboratory (for critical samples at the minimum)
  • Support competence development of field-based mini-lab operators (coaching & mentorship)
  • Support  effective management of (now increasing) production data/information requests from JV partners and Regulators

These are in addition to:

  • Requirements for regular sampling & analysis of sales gas streams
  • Strategic drive of our pipeline oil transporter and terminal operator towards joint sampling & analysis of wet oil export from all flowstations injecting into the network
  • Critical for daily production quality measurements (NCTL injections, gas sales analyses, etc.)
  • Corporate TA for Prod Chemistry
  • Technical support to field-based laboratories
  • Competence & skill development support to mini-lab operators

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Chemical Engineering or similar, with 10+ years demonstrable O&G production chemistry experience.

 

Job Title: Exploration Geologist (Consultant)

Job Summary

  • To provide consultancy support to the G&G team in the area of developing.
  • An experienced consultant will be required to perform the underlisted job tasks.

Job Description
Work scope will include:

  • Provide guidance in developing the company’s generative exploration strategy
  • Support the G&G team to identify/mature exploration opportunities consistent with the corporate strategic plan
  • Assist G&G team to prepare Exploration drilling program and Appraisal wells plan
  • Provide in-house training for the G&G team on maturation of the exploration funnel
  • Provide technical assurance on the 2017 OML XX Exploration study
  • Provide information and guidance on emerging trends and technologies in the Exploration field
  • Advice on seismic activities such as acquisition, processing etc
  • Advice on approvals of exploration Work Programs and Budgets from the Government and JV Partners
  • SME with 15-20 years’ experience in the Exploration realm.

 

Job Title: Wellsite Geologist
Location:
Port Harcourt, Rivers

Requirements

  • Analysing, evaluating and describing formations while drilling, using cuttings, gas, formation evaluation measurement while drilling (FEMWD) and wireline data
  • Supervise mud loggers, FEMWD and wireline services personnel and monitoring quality control in relation to these services
  • Act as company representative (subsurface)
  • Keep detailed records, writing reports, completing daily, weekly and post-well reporting logs and sending reports to the office
  • Monitoring the well drilling path to check compliance with the planned trajectory
  • Updating the prognosis vs actual sand tops
  • 10 to 15 years experience.

Title: Instrumentation Engineer

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience as an electrical instrumentation engineer  in the installation, repair, testing and maintenance of a wide range of electrical instrumentation equipment, preferably in an oil/gas industry.

Job Title: Metering/OR&A Engineer

Job Description

  • A Metering Engineer is required to provide technical assurance for adequacy and effectiveness of metering/measurement of production streams, especially those with regulatory compliance and commercial implications.

Responsibilities
