COMMUNICATIONS AND COMMUNITY TEAM LEAD

Our Communications and Community Lead will in collaboration with our executive management team lead the development and execution of our Communications and Community strategy, with a strong focus on thought leadership, brand awareness, lead generation and the marketing conversion funnel on both online and offline channels.

The successful candidate will drive in collaboration with a deeply engaged executive team and multiple agencies an integrated marketing strategy that will include PR, creative and experiential marketing, product marketing, brand management, digital and content marketing and inbound sales operations across our many different products and audiences in different countries across Africa and around the world. We are looking for someone who is willing to get their hands dirty today, learn as much as they possibly can and also nurture a team  of effective communicators to effectively scale our marketing and communications efforts.

The ability to budget and track return on investment for marketing effort
The ability to train, hire and grow a world class marketing and communications team

You will
Develop, manage and execute Flutterwave’s marketing strategy, in alignment with business goals.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that all marketing and communications assets abide by our guidelines and support our business goals
Lead SEO strategy and execution, including understanding of technical SEO, and site optimization.
Support specific campaigns with landing pages, SEO, SEM, display advertising, content syndication, and reporting.
Provide comprehensive and insightful reporting and updates.
Conduct ongoing competitive research to help inform strategies.
Develop and implement our offline marketing strategy.
Exploring co-marketing opportunities with key customers
Actively build and support a community of strong third party advocates and user communities for Flutterwave across products, countries and customer segments
Keep up to date on latest trends and best practices in marketing and communication.

Bonus oints if you have
3+ years of brand management experience in Africa with a multinational FMCG/Telecoms/Bank/ Agency
Demonstrated experience building an African brand with a huge youth or business following.
B2B marketing relationships and experience in Africa.

EXECUTIVE CO-ORDINATOR TO THE CEO

Our ideal candidate is an experienced executioner who is very resourceful and comfortable working under intense pressure to deliver projects in seemingly impossible situations while remaining flexible, proactive, data driven and efficient. They will report directly to the CEO and co-ordinate with the executive management team to ensure well laid out plans are flawlessly executed.

You will be :
Assisting in coordinating the agenda of senior management team meetings and off-sites, and all staff meetings including information required for operational decisions
Coordinate executive communications, including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with customers, clientele and investors.
Arranges corporate travel and meetings by developing itineraries and agendas; booking other transportation; arranging lodging and meeting accommodations
Anticipating the management team needs needs and proactively bringing together appropriate people and resources to support the management team’s agenda
Completing critical aspects of deliverables and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem solving; making adjustments to plans
Enhance the CEO and company’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value
Representing the CEO by welcoming visitors, arranging company dinners and other corporate functions; answering questions and meeting requests directed to the executive office
Managing external contacts; proactively understanding who they are, who the primary contacts are, and keeping track of periodic communication needed for primary contacts
Ensuring the CEO’s performs day-to-day administrative duties

You will need
Interpersonal Skills: The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal skills for interacting with clients and working with CEOs and top-level managers. It is important to not only be able to maintain proper confidentiality but also to always behave in a way that suggests personal discretion and integrity
Time Management Skills: The successful candidate needs to not only handle his/her time well but also that of the CEO. That means coordinating the needs and demands of multiple people to create a workable schedule and then often changing that plans on short notice as situations change.
Solid Experience : Minimum of 4 plus years of experience reporting directly to and supporting senior management executives.
Advanced Microsoft Office and Google Suite Tools skills: You should also have the ability to become familiar with company-specific programs and software. It is very important that you are expert with Word, Powerpoint and Excel as well as Google Calendar and Email.
Strong project management skills : You must not only have proficiency in collaboration and delegation of duties but also strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities.

You must have:

Strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills
The ability to work with the rest team to meet tight deadlines
The ability to think, plan and clearly communicate strategic priorities and projects in ways everyone can understand.
Significant experience supporting and managing busy executives.
