WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR – SAGAMU PLANT

JOB DESCRIPTION
Amongst other duties, the job holder will ensure;

T1 Shipments:
Despatching and receipting of loads; Sequence appropriately through statuses to Despatch all loads in ERP; Upload handheld devices with shipment information or print required documentation; Cross reference driver check with ERP to ensure correct quantities of finished product on shipment
Provide driver with delivery / shipment documentation; Amend load and documentation correctly in the event of product non-availability
Verify that all invoices and delivery documentation are signed and fully completed upon receipt of vehicle; Register entry to be made for all missing and unsigned invoices; Load Summary and invoices to be collated; Understand shipment differences and record reasons for discrepancies

T2 Shipments:
Despatching and receipting of loads (T1); T1 load plan printed and reviewed per shift
Adhere to Brewery empty container plan
Assignment of picking and loading tasks for T1
Management of primary distribution receipting and despatch

Inventory Management:
Carry out daily inventory office procedure as per inventory management guidelines
Communicate, investigate and resolve all stock variances
Collate all stock office documentation and invoices as per procedure

Fleet Management:
Driver trip sheet feedback collated and handed to Delivery Service Manager
Safety critical items checked and signed off prior start of shift
Ensure physical vehicle despatch matches the system vehicle
Adherence to the health, safety and environmental standards:
Site housekeeping standards (5S) maintained and adhered to
Appropriate personal protective equipment used as designated by site safety standards
Ensure adherence to site safety standards

REQUIREMENTS
The occupant of this position should possess:

Relevant tertiary degree or diploma, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Warehousing or logistics
Proficient in SAP/SYSPRO and MS Office

INVENTORY CONTROLLER – SAGAMU PLANT

JOB DESCRIPTION

Amongst other duties, the job holder will:

Stock Management:

  • Facilitate daily and monthly physical inventory count
  • Conduct stock count according to company standards and procedures
  • Ensure stock take system are set up correctly; Ensure that hand held used in the stock process are set up correctly and maintained accordingly
  • Adhere to all physical pre stock take procedures and action pre stock take reports
  • Process all stock adjustments prior to starting stock take, including sorted and over Start stock take on ERP and upload physical stock count from stock take system
  • SD Shipments/T2 Shipments:
  • Ensure that all post goods issues have been processed for all deliveries and driver corrections
  • All proof of delivery notes have been checked and accounted for; Check and sign off missing and unsigned invoice register daily
  • Ensure that all daily load plans and distribution gate registers have been checked and are on file;
  • Assist with resolving and correcting invoice queries
  • PD Shipments/T1 Shipments:
  • Ensure that all post goods issues have been processed; Check that no deliveries have been post goods issues without shipments
  • Ensure that all inter depot movement notes have been checked against inter depot gate register and filed
  • Follow up all inter depot in transit shipments if not received; Inter depot claims must be logged in accordance to claim procedure; Confirm inter depot movements with Depots on a monthly basis
  • Packaging Interface:
  • Balance with packaging on a daily basis and Balance cullet with packaging weekly
  • Reconciliation of issued containers vs packed volume.
  • Supplier Stock Management:
  • Management of supplier returnable pallets and layer boards
  • Engaging with suppliers to ensure that returned packaging is credited in full
  • Verify that all returns are credited correctly; Manage pallets; Calling off raw materials from supplier; Co-ordinate with supplier to arrange resources for over packing
  • Financial Control:
  • Ensure that all stock postings are posted to the correct accounts
  • Variance commentary compiled and submitted to management
    Stock Planning:
  • Check depot days of cover daily and communicate with planning if required
  • Report all stock outs to depot, sales and planning
  • Liaise with planning to resolve stock issues

REQUIREMENTS
The occupant of this position should possess:

  • Relevant bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics or related field
  • Have 2-3 years’ experience in warehousing and inventory management
  • Excellent self-management and planning skills
  • Computer literate: Proficiency in MS Office and other inventory management software

Enhanced customer service:

  • Implementation of DPO management routines; Operational work diagnosis (OWD) done to check compliance to all SOP’s and standards
  • Dedicated work area 5’s inspection / audit , visual boards updated with 5’s scores and gaps OWD’s done for Quality, truck departure, truck arrival and truck delivery process at POC
  • Track Customer delivery performance (CDP) reasons & action plans developed and implemented
  • Driver feedback analysis done and feedback given to drivers
  • Drive productivity:
  • Refusals tracked, analysed and action plans created and implemented
  • OWD’s done for Quality, truck departure, truck arrival and truck delivery process at POC
  • Transport labour productivity – GOPS completed and action plans developed
  • Delivery process standardized and SOP’s implemented
  • Plan vs actual km analysed, action plans developed and implemented
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Maintain open communication channels with CiC and Centralised Planning

Amongst other duties, the job holder will;
Enhanced customer service:

  • Implement DPO delivery pillar and adherence to safety standards; Identify critical task and develop SOP’s; Tracking of all PI’s and KPI’s, main focus on sustainable KPI’s; Daily driver meetings adherence to driver safety and productivity;
  • All Customer DSP’s negotiated, agreed and communicated; Master Data and inputs into Load plan aligned to Customers DSP (Distribution Service Package)
  • Feedback on all customer comments, queries and suggestions within the CRM service level agreement and facilitate on-going driver and customer service training for new and existing drivers
  • Tracking planed vs Actual km and time , action plans developed and implemented; Accountable for new customer take-on process in-trade including customer induction
  • Load plan execution:
  • Day to day management of customers related delivery queries or complaints; Root cause analysis of queries and complaints conducted to prevent recurrence

    Drive productivity:

WAREHOUSE MANAGER – SAGAMU PLANT

Amongst other duties, the job holder will;

Inventory and warehouse management:

  • Conduct random truck counts to monitor effectiveness of internal controls
  • Oversee the Warehouse to ensure stock availability and quality
  • Manage DOC and working capital
  • Manage returns to issues and weeks in trade
  • Ensure that inventory management processes are entrenched and Inventory postings need to be understood to manage gains and losses
  • Optimal Fleet management:
  • Engage fleet suppliers to maintain optimal fleet uptime to deliver on customer service commitments
  • Conduct regular fleet inspections as per fleet guidelines to ensure compliance to road traffic act and internal measures
  • Monitor and understand fleet key performance indicators and implement corrective action plans where required
  • Ensure that fleet-mix is optimal and suitable for terrain
  • Manage fleet service provider SLA’s and ensure that temporary fleet service providers are engaged and SLA’s are in place
    3rd party management:
  • Contractors managed against the Service Level agreement
  • Ensure contractors alignment to business strategy

REQUIREMENTS
The occupant of this position should possess:

  • Relevant tertiary degree or diploma, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience at a managerial level in any of financial, administration, international trade or inter-state distributors

Key competencies and attributes:

  • Knowledge of shipping, freight and forwarding practices.
  • Financial and legal requirements associated with import/exporting, VAT, EXCISE, Letters of Credit, Consignment Sales, etc.
  • Knowledge of banking rates, exchange control and currency exchange rates.
  • Basic electronic bookkeeping knowledge (via SAP)
  • Strong budgeting skills (costs and revenue)

SENIOR LOGISTICS MANAGER – SAGAMU PLANT

JOB DESCRIPTION
Amongst other duties, the job holder will:

  • Process Implementation: Drive awareness and Implement DPO process on all pillars across all functions; Drive daily management routines in scheduled meetings.
  • Develop standard operating practice: Complete Business Description annually for each pillar, identifying critical task, developing SOP’s and identifying and implementing PI’s & Kpi’s to track SOP’s
  • Improve quality: Oversees the Warehouse to ensure stock availability and quality as per DPO requirements
  • Improve safety and productivity: Oversees the Distribution function to ensure planned volume targets are met in a safe and productive way as per DPO
  • Cash/Stock management: Oversees and controls cash management; Daily review and sign-off of Controls Pack (Daily controls, stock controls, Security OB exceptions, etc.); Month end financial stock count performed
  • Improve safety: Ensures a safe and healthy working environment to meet required safety and legislative standards.
  • Improve efficiencies: Developing a Service Level Agreement (SLA) between Logistics and Sales with clear information about delivery capacity, forecasting, inventory levels, order cut-off time, and sales curve index, min drop size, out of delivery day, SKU prioritization
  • Managing cost: Detailed delivery Budget review monthly; Operational KPIs used to address financial challenges.

REQUIREMENTS

Relevant Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics or related field
